John Adams DVD

This has got to be one of HBO's most successful series. Years later people are still looking watching it. Maybe it may have something to do with it involving the history of America. It is based on David McCullough's bestselling biography.

The John Adams HBO series tries to better explain the life of the second President of the United States of America, which is the least understood of all the presidents. It is also vital because he is one of the founding fathers. John Adams is portrayed as a lawyer who is really interested in justice and following the law, this is what causes him to have many enemies. Paul Giamatti grows with the character and does a pretty good job with the dramatization.

Here's My Personal Unbiased Review:

Alright so one thing is pretty clear about this HBO series, they did a very good job with the acting and the acuracy of the series. They however had to leave out some elements from the book that it is based on simply because the book is so long. They managed to leave out parts and still remain true to the story. Almost everyone who has watched this DVD has discovered or learnt more about that time in American history that is represented in the series. If you like history and period pieces you will like this one... definitely.
